AngiMelo Women High Waisted Bikini Set Two Piece Short Sleeve Swimsuit Lace Up Tummy Control Bathing Suit Sporty TeensI got this suit for an upcoming beach vacation, for which I will want more than one suit. I liked the idea of having one top which does not have straps which will bite into my shoulder as the day wears on. In addition, I liked the idea of a bit of shoulder coverage for days when I feel like I have had enough sun already. I also liked the idea of a black suit which could potentially mix and match with other tops and bottoms.Fit: The fit seems decent. My measurements fit squarely under Large, so that is what I got. I normally wear medium/small. I suspect the bottom could ride up wedgie style in more active moments, but I have not had a chance to wear it at the beach yet, so I can’t say for sure. The top is fabulous for my modestly sized bust. If you keep the padding, you get a slight push-up effect (no underwire, and no support). If you remove it, you get a more streamlined look. I took pictures both ways but it is hard to tell the difference. The fabric of the suit is thick enough that you could take out the padding and not be too concerned about modesty. However, I would recommend choosing whether you want to keep your padding or not. If you don’t want the padding, consider sewing the insert hole shut so you don’t end up with a top full of sand at the end of the day. Unfortunately, if you keep the padding, keeping the holes would be best so that you can fuss with the inserts after washing, and get them where they belong. The top fit feels tighter than the bottom. While I would not size down on the top, I suspect I could size down on the bottom. The strings on the bottom are cute but I am not sure how they will fare with active beach going. Overall, the cut on top and bottom is cute.Care: I washed on delicate in a delicates bag with the rest of my laundry, and line dried. That worked fine. The foam padding inserts shifted during washing and will need to be shifted back before wearing.Overall this suit is worth it. It works well on my relatively trim body and with a modestly sized bust.
